Sunday, Aug. 20, Adult Rug Hooking Join Fort Smith Artist Sydney O'Sullivan in this day long workshop as she teaches about the art of rug hooking. Learn about the art and make your own special sample piece to take home! $60 Hundreds of years ago, hand hooked rugs, made from fabric scraps and burlap, were a necessity in the rustic home. Today hand hooked rugs are works of art for the floor, wall or table top. At this one day workshop you will learn about rug hooking by making a 12" by 12" hooked rug sample. We will provide some suggested designs, but If you have a design, by all means bring it! |
