NLMCC - Cupcake Thursdays!

Hello all,

We are once again running our weekly cupcake stand in Mission park. 

One slight change this year is that it will take place every Thursday instead of Wednesday due to scheduling conflicts. 

We are actively seeking volunteers who are willing to bake cupcakes and drop them off at the museum every Thursday morning. Please try and let us know beforehand if you will be able to help us out and bake some cupcakes!

Our first cupcakes date will be on this coming Thursday June 6, and will run weekly until the end of August.

1. Jamie Bastedo author talk: Monday, May 27 at 7:00 pm at the Northern Life Museum & Cultural Centre. Join us as ecologist, storyteller, and entertainer, Jamie Bastedo, spins some tales and talks about his latest book Nighthawk! Refreshments will be served.

2. Tales from the Trading Post: Tuesday, May 28 at 11:00 am and 1:30 pm, at the Northern Life Museum & Cultural Centre: Join us again with Jamie Bastedo as he takes us back to the days of the fur trade!

3. Fabric Landscape Workshop: Sat. & Sun, May 25-26, with instructor Marie Christine Aubrey: An amazing opportunity to create a unique hand sewn piece of art using your own imagination for design ideas, along with a variety of beautiful fabrics and colours.

Fabric Landscapes Workshop - May 25 -26, 2013

Good Day!

Sign up now for our Fabric Landscapes Workshop which will be held on May 25 -26, 2013 at the Northern Life Museum.

Join our highly experienced instructor Marie Christine Aubrey as she helps you use your creative sense to put together a wide variety of fabrics creating a stunning visual display, both designed and created by you!  Marie Christine encourages all her students to create images that are exciting and meaningful to them.

Cost is $60.00/person. NLMCC Members receive 10% off all workshops!

NLMCC Assistant Administration & Events Coordinator employment position
