Good morning!
With the recent chilly weather, we have decided to move our MAX Winter Chill Outdoor Art display to be open in conjunction with Wood Buffalo Frolics! We invite you all to come out on Sunday March 13, from 12:00 - 3:00 PM and view the ice art display in our outdoor gallery, which will feature a fifty foot long wall of snow! There will be FREE hot chocolate, a bonfire, and a snow block to try your hand at carving.
We are still looking for Ice Art to display, so bring in yours by March 12! We have simple How-To instructions if you haven't made yours yet. It's very simple and they look beautiful!
We will be holding a FREE Ice Art workshop on Friday March 11, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. This is a great activity for kids and adults alike! We will display all the art peices made that day in the outdoor gallery.
Also, if you are still interested in carving a snow sculpture, we still have a few snow blocks up for grabs! First time carvers welcome, this is about having fun and learning how to make something beautiful out of snow. If you are interested just call us at the musuem or stop by anytime!
Enjoy Wood Buffalo Frolics!
