Autumn Fest - Sign up for the Chili Cook Off!!

Hello Hello,

 

The leaves are changing colour, and that calls for some .... Chili?!? Yes, the Museum is hosting a Chili Cook Off during the Autumn Festival that is being put on by the Association des Francophone de Fort Smith. We are currently looking for teams to sign up and create their best pot of Chili!

 

Here are the details:

 

When: Saturday October 15th, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

What: Sign up your team and make a crock pot full of chili.

 

And... WIN! The top three pots of chili will receive a prize. The winners will be voted on by the public, so tell all your friends to come out and taste each kind.

Hello,

The Thebacha & Wood Buffalo Astronomical Society (TAWBAS) will be holding its first AGM meeting at 7pm on September 14th (Wednesday) at the Northern Life Museum.

 

Anyone interested in participating in the society should attend.   The society has registered with legal registries and we are now required to complete some basic tasks such as filling some vacancies on the Board of Directors, establishing membership fees along with a few other items.

 

Hope to see lots of you at this meeting !!

NLMCC AGM - Sept 11 at 7:00 PM.

Hello hello,

 

We would like to invite you to the Annual General Meeting for the Northern Life Museum & Cultural Centre. The AGM will be held on Sunday September 11 at 7:00 PM.

 

Please note that you must be a member in good standing to vote in the board member elections, which means you must have a current membership. Memberships will not be sold at the AGM, but can be purchased at the Museum, which is open regular business hours Monday to Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
