Upcoming Events and Exhibits in February and March

Renovations
The museum has been undergoing some major renovations to its air handling system for the past few weeks; so thank you to everyone for bearing with us.  These renovations are long in coming and we are very pleased that they will be completed for the 2010 season.  The air handling system is one of the ways the museum controls the environment inside the building.  It will help to regulate the temperature and humidity and control the how clean the air is.  Both are essential to keeping our artifacts in good condition.  This is true for the artifacts on display or in storage.  Environmental controls also make the museum more comfortable for the people who visit.  So we are all warm enough when we need to be warm and cool enough when we need to be cool.  It is good for our objects and good for our visitors so we are very pleased.  If you have any other questions about the renovations to the museum
