BBQ and Outdoor Gallery Open House.

Sunny days call for a sizzling BBQ!

 

The Museum invites you to our BBQ and Outdoor Gallery Open House on Wednesday June 15, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.The Outdoor Gallery will be open to everyone, as well as our Warhouse that is full of seldom seen artefacts!

 

Burgers are $1, so come have dinner with us in the sun and enjoy a glimpse into history!

Cupcake Wednesday at the Museum!

Good Morning!

 

Are you in need of a tasty treat to get you through your busy week? The Northern Life Museum & Cultural Centre is starting Cupcake Wednesdays at the Museum. Every Wednesday, starting June 8, the Museum will be holding a coffee house featuring handmade cupcakes, fresh coffee, a variety of teas, and a weekly specailty drink. The coffee house will be open from 2:00 - 5:00 PM in the lower gallery of the Museum. Come have your coffee break wih a cupcake and support the Museum!

RESCHEDULING BBQ at Mission Park

Ok, I know we are all hardy Canadians, however, a picnic at 5 degrees with a wind chill wouldn't be much fun so we are going to postpone the BBQ we had planned for Mission Park tomorrow (June 3) and do it on another day.  We will send updated details as soon as we have them.

Open House for "The Fibres of Our Lives" Community Art Exhibit

Good afternoon!

 

The Museum would like to invite to the Open House for "The Fibres of Our Lives" Community Art Exhibit. The Museum is proud to present this beautiful and eclectic collection of fibre art made by artists right here in Fort Smith. The exhibit includes weaving, knitting, cross stitch, quilting, sewing, crocheting, hooking, alpaca shearing and much much more!

 

The Open House is on Thursday May 19th from 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
